An error occurred during the closing of the dome flap ("the while loop time-out so the dome flat might still be open"). |

Activated shutdown seem to have closed the dome, although not sure if it would have closed without activating it. |

Reoccurring issue with calibration light motor slide preventing observations |
Mads, Pere and Antonio |
Pre Slit Table |
The motor rails and bearings were checked and adjusted by Antonio but it continued to fail after few movements. I have decided to stay closed until Antonio and Hector will try to change the rail to a new one on Monday the 4th of August. |

The telescope will not properply shut down around ~11 am local time. While the mirror covers and dome flap are closed, the dome slit remains open. The SONG mail keeps spamming that the dome was not properply closed |

Pre slit table |
The calibration mirror slide including ThAr fibre feeder, solar fibre feed etc is not working. It needs on-site inspection of the pre-slit-table and specifically the specific motor slide. |

I believe I found the cause for the bad pointing on specific targets. A missing division by cosine to the declination when calculating the ra proper motion seems to have solved the issue. fingers crossed. |

This message is repeated and sen via email to the watchmen (Dennis Stello noticed that he received lots of email pr. minute. Neither me or Stello are watchman for tonight). Looking at the observer page the dome state is still open, this is problematic, since the humidity is high. I tried to activate the shutdown, but it didn't help. |
